In February 2021 a small group of residents began meeting with State Park officials to address safety issues along the entrance road to The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park.

This spurred the formation of Nisene Rio Gateway.

Since then, State Parks have installed new signs, revamped the entrance station, and re-paved part of the entrance road. Through dedication & attention, State Parks has responded to the community’s pleas!

Now State Parks needs community support to complete the vision.
