Expansive Trail Network
Aptos features many spectacular trails - through the forest & along the coast. Visitors come from all around to enjoy our parks & pathways. Unfortunately, traffic & parking congestion often inhibit access, even for local residents.
By expanding & connecting our trail network, we can foster vehicle-free enjoyment of all that Aptos has to offer, from redwoods to sea and vibrant business districts in between.
We believe that all people have an inherent right to enjoy and interact respectfully with their natural environment. We encourage exploration, but also urge explorers to be respectful.
NRG’s proposed trail network is not yet complete, so some routes are unimproved & unmaintained. Explore at your own risk. And, most importantly, please help us bring this trail network to fruition!
